A French look into Dutch design
During my time at puik, I got to design a few stands. Maison & Objet in Paris is one of them. This was the first time that I got to design a stand for puik. So I started is project with a lot of enthusiasm.
The wish of puik was to design a stand, that amplified their brand and vision. The measurements I had to work with where 6,5 x 6,0 meters. There was also a high luminaire for lighting. That was around 3,5 meters high.
First I started drawing the furniture from puik's collection. After that I continued to design, with the brands vision in mind. The design needed to be spacious, but with the correct booth dimensions.
Eventually I showed my ideas to puik. They gave me some tips to better my design. With their feedback I made some changes. They where happy with the result. The finished design would be realized! I liked the part that my design would be realised. To sketch it on paper and then see it actually being build, is such an amazing feeling.
