Entrepreneur Of The Year Award Zwolle
The “Ondernemer van het jaar” awards were a group project I worked on when I was studying at Cibap. I worked on this with 4 other classmates from a variety of crafts. The client (Metropool) asked us to design an award for entrepreneur of the year region Zwolle, The Netherlands. The awards would be handed out at the congress in December of 2018.
Metropool wanted an award that reflected their brand and fitted in with this year’s theme; Technology as an opportunity. The goal was to design an award that you really want as a showpiece for your company.
After a week of thinking, sketching and designing we narrowed it down to 3 ideas to show the client. Metropool was happily surprised and chose the design we had hoped for. It was called “The Mind of Technology” you can see it in the pictures below.
When the design was chosen we worked 3 weeks in the workshop making the award. We did everything ourselves from glass cutting, woodworking, painting, laser cutting and filming our whole process. That is what is so great about working in a group where everybody was a specialty.
